THE SPATIO PROJECTS

THE SPATIO is engaged in key infrastructure projects across Pakistan, offering project management, consultancy, and technical supervision. Their work includes assessing hydroelectric potential for the Access to Clean Energy Program in KPK, conducting reservoir studies for the Karot Hydropower Project, and providing geotechnical and GIS services for the Kurram Tangi and Naulong Dam projects. They also performed topographic surveys for the Madyan Hydropower Project and hydraulic surveys for the Pehur Main Canal, ensuring precise data for effective project planning and design.

THE SPATIO drives infrastructure projects in Pakistan, specializing in hydroelectric assessments, reservoir studies, geotechnical, GIS, topographic, and hydraulic surveys for initiatives like Karot, Kurram Tangi, and Naulong Dams.

THE SPATIO conducted geospatial engineering and geotechnical studies for the Kurram Tangi Integrated Water Resource Development Project (KTIWRDP). Their work included establishing geodetic survey controls, UAV-based aerial mapping, satellite photogrammetry for reservoir and dam studies, and detailed geological and geotechnical investigations to support the project’s design and development.

THE SPATIO conducted geospatial engineering and geotechnical studies for the Kurram Tangi Integrated Water Resource Development Project (KTIWRDP). Their work included establishing geodetic survey controls, UAV-based aerial mapping, satellite photogrammetry for reservoir and dam studies, and detailed geological and geotechnical investigations to support the project’s design and development.

THE SPATIO has successfully completed key assignments under the PULSE project, including the establishment of geodetic survey control across Punjab, the procurement of high-resolution satellite imagery for Hafizabad and Lodhran districts, and the collection of ground control points. Additionally, the firm conducted aerial mapping of major urban settlements and villages in Hafizabad district.

RESERVOIR CLEARING STUDY
720-MW KAROT HYDROPOWER PROJECT, PAKISTAN

Reservoir Clearing survey and preparation of BOQ for the Karot hydropower project was awarded to M/S THE SPATIO by CISPDR on August, 2019. Reservoir clearing study was including full reservoir area topographic survey by aerial mapping, identification & quantification of reservoir clearing material and preparation of bill of quantities (BOQ).

  • 720-MW Karot Hydropower Project is one of the prioritized projects in energy sector of the CPEC. The project, the first hydropower investment project of the CPEC, is also the one of the first projects to be invested by the Silk Road Fund after its establishment.

  • Carrying out a full reservoir aerial survey using UAV to extract high resolution ortho rectified imagery (5cm), digital elevation model (DEM 17cm) and Topographic survey plan at scale of 1:500 with 1-meter contour interval.
  • Verification of the existing survey control network available along the reservoir area for mapping. Verification of the mapping lines based on f resh survey and finalization of mapping lines.
  • Identification of all physical aspects/features that are required to be cleared with respect to different lines according to local law and practices.
  • Estimation of all physical features (like House, bridges, culverts, transmission lines, other structures, trees, floating materials, vegetation etc.) in reservoir area need to be cleared.
  • Classification/Segregation and compilation of all data to create complete and Accurate Bill of Quantities (BOQs). Report on Reservoir Clearing including aerial survey, verification of mapping lines, identification of clearing material, classification of clearing material and bill of quantities (BOQ).
